Will Jesus Forgive All My Sins?

Will Jesus Forgive All My Sins?

Will Jesus Forgive All My Sins?Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee: and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations”.
It’s a good thing to have understanding of the word of God and to be linked with his holiness. If we have understanding of the word then this question would be so simple for us to answer. We are in a kingdom that is ruled by spirits of darkness, principalities, princes of evils, and other ungodly manifestations. We are born of sin because of our ancestors Adam and Eve; being compassed with all this evil its only human to indulge in sin at some point in our lives.

We sin because we are slaves to our flesh and our fleshly desires overwhelm anything our spirit wants. We sin because we walk after the natural man, but we serve a God that knew this. He knew us before we were created because we were a spirit. He took this spirit and put it in an earthly vessel that’s exposed to all sorts of unrighteousness; however, this is done for the edification of his people. How is it that we witness people who we knew way back in the days and they were the biggest whoremongers, thieves, idolaters, adulterers, drug dealers, and liars there were? But we see them now and their standing behind the pulpit preaching the word of God. How can this happen? Is that of God, yes! Hebrews 5:1 states, “For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God”. These people are taken from the world to glorify God. They are a testimony to the power of God. They are set as examples, God taking the least and making the greatest.

Take the mustard seed for example, that’s one of the smallest seeds known to man, but when it is grown, it’s one of the greatest trees there is. Take another example of Apostle Paul. This man was a Christian killer! He was ruthless and lived to persecute the people of God, but Paul was taken from men and transformed into a glorious vessel for God. Jesus spoke a parable in Luke 7:41-43 that goes, “There was a certain creditor which had two debtors; the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And Jesus said unto him, Thou has rightly judged”.

This parable allows me to understand the level of forgiveness and love the Lord has towards me. The more sin I have, the more honorable I am towards the preaching of the cross. This allows me to take all my many sins and use it as motivation to pressing towards that higher mark. This allows me the understanding that there is no looking back at who I was. The world judges me on what or who I used to be or what they think I am, but I serve a God, who is the father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who walked in my shoes and understood my struggles and had enough compassion to wipe away my many transgressions. Now I ask you, do I really need to answer the question; will God forgive me of my sins? Pray my strength in the Lord.
